Testing.... testing.... 1,2,3.... can anybody hear me?!!

Well it's official! That's right people, I am officially a "Blogger". Probably not a good blogger, nor do I understand how to edit, and change settings/ backgrounds/any dang thing else on here; however it's just like they say in AA, attempting is the first step.

Or, is that admitting you have a problem the first step? You would think with as many "recovered" (yeah right) boyfriends from my past, and friends that have "issues" that I would be well informed of this, but I have the attention span of a ferret on methamphetamine, so it makes the concept of remembering 12 steps (or anything else for that matter) A LOT more difficult than the average one human being should take.

I have always wanted to attempt to do the "blog thing" but could never quite grasp "how to start". By "how to start" I don't mean I couldn't think of enough random things in my life to write about. No, more so I'm not very, what would you call it? "tech-savvy"...yeah we'll go with that it sounds a lot nicer than "oh, not good on the computer"? "dumbass"! I do use Facebook, and apparently according to my cousin (that we shall call Inigo) my daily posts were so long that they were more "blog" than "status update".

But, hey come on!! Do you know how long it took me to learn how to use Facebook? Let's just say my Facebook profile was set up towards the end of 2009, and last October is when I started posting more and learning how to do pictures and such. Between the end of 2009 and October 2012 I think there were somewhere around 10 posts (and I'm being generous including pictures and things people sent me). Oh, and don't even get me started on Myspace. Like I could ever learn how to do Myspace. All the people I knew that had one of those were like "Katie, its easy, you can set up a profile, and link, and do this and that, and blah, blah, blah". I don't know all I heard was "oh, let's let you look at the same screen for 16 hours, and by the time you get up you won't be any closer to success than when you started".

Thanks a lot to my generation for making the need for technology so vast, that me not knowing how to properly use it at times makes me look like I should've been in the days of "Wuthering Heights".

Glad it didn't go down like that though. It's my favorite book, but all that incestuous weird stuff that goes down can just hold the front door! I might have been born in Indiana, raised in Tennessee, had a few years stints in Alabama and Florida, but that "Backwoods, Deliverance, Kentucky/Appalachian Mountains" stuff ain't going on with me! It just ain't gonna go down like that!

Sorry, I'm Rambling (see the attention span)...back to Inigo and myself: So she was all "Katie, you should blog, because your posts are too long". To which I replied to by staring off into space, looking around the room like I didn't hear her, and finally admitting defeat, and telling her "Inigo, I would love to, but unfortunately your dumbass baby cousin doesn't know how".

She immediately insisted that she would help, and teach me how to do these things (like she has I'm pretty sure since my birth). So here I sit. Rambling. Trying to learn how on God's Green Earth that I'm going to learn how to do all of this. Also, how do people follow your blog? Are random people just going to scroll across me, and be like "she's nutty, I'll follow her"? I'm ok with that, don't get me wrong, I think it's cool, I just don't understand how it works. (Go Figure). So I guess the question is: testing... testing... 1,2,3... can anybody hear me??!!!
