First, I would just like ya'll to be happy for me. Why? Because I've had this shirt for over a year now and haven't been able to wear it. Why again? Because to put it bluntly my clothes were staying the same size and I kept getting bigger. Half from weight gain, half from swelling (quit being negative it's true-even the Doctor said so
(Btw, No those are not stains-I'm not that messy-
It's how the shirt is made-you can see the design when you stand close to me
I know it's hard and I'm sorry, but I still Love it!)

I always listen to music when I get ready in the morning. (It seems to make the process of trying to make myself look decent go smoother). In the last week I've been listening to the songs/bands that were real popular the year that I graduated High School. (Especially Hinder). What can I say all this reminiscing from back in the day has made me nostalgic! Get off my back about it! Then I started thinking about all of the songs that my friends and I rocked out to our Senior Year and the Summer after it. So what is a girl to do when she is trying to remember a million little things? Why Google of course. I am after all Google Friendly. I came across The Billboard's Top 100 Songs of 2008, a woman's column that narrows down her Top 25 songs of 2008 , a listing for the Top Pop Songs of 2008 Playlist, and a listing of Country's Top 100 Songs of 2008.
My friends and I were a bit eclectic when it came to the music we listened to. Not to mention in my group of friends no one was really the same. So depending on who I was hanging out with, was what music we listened to. It's weird but true. I hung out with Mo mostly and there was a lot of classic rock, country and especially Bartender. We sang that song constantly! When we were hanging out in the middle of the night riding around with the guys it was Bartender, All Summer Long, James Otto, Love Ballads (of Country and Classic Rock), Haystak, and Champagne Supernova. Yeah I know, but Mo was dating Lee at the time and felt the need to belt out the love ballads, I loved Country and we all sang that, and we all know why teenagers like the song Champagne Supernova, that's no secret. When I was hanging out with "Abby" it was a lot of country, rock, pop and rap. She loved rap music. Her favorite songs at that time was Whatever You Like, and I Kissed A Girl. We listened to a lot of Hinder and Nirvana together though. Dyer and I listened to everything! However, we were big on Rehab and Pink. Everyone that year was singing Addicted-Saving Abel and the two big songs from my Prom were Far Away-Nickelback and I'll Be-Edwin McCain. Don't worry however, even though I love those songs I still stuck to a lot of Gavin DeGraw. It was kind of my thing that year.
The point is I had forgotten how many different kinds of music I have always listened too. I love it, and I love listening to all the songs from "back in the day". What did I learn? Umm..Well we were all awesome! Nothing beats Scotty dancing when we're all singing I'm Yours, and strangely enough the lead singer from Hinder (Austin Winkler) is attractive while singing, but in a very bizarre way. Who would've thought it?
Yesterday was Shylyn's 14th Birthday. We ate dinner and then had cake/icecream and she opened her present from Kenny and Jim. I told her that I would take her shopping to get something today after I got off of work. Big fun (NOT!) It's probably a good thing that a friend of Kenny and Jim's is taking her and her best friend to the fair this weekend instead of me. I would put one of those harness/leash things on them so I wouldn't lose them. You know why? Because I know teenage girls. They would see a couple cute boys and start following them and not pay any attention. Uh huh, I got y'alls number!
(What I look like taking any 14 year old anywhere to do anything!)
After months of saying that I want to take some form of Self Defense-Exercise class (kickboxing, self defense, jujitsu, etc) Danielle has finally agreed to take Kick-Boxing with me. She has a friend that actually teaches the beginner class and she looked at me this morning and was all, "Katie you know what we should do, take a kickboxing class!" Of course I was all "Yes! We should do that! I want to do that!" So I'm not really sure when or if we will, but at least it's planted in the minds now.
Just a few more Random Things. I have decided that I want a bottle of Lamar&Khloe's "Unbreakable Bond" Body Mist/Perfume. Yes, along with secretly watching The damn Kardashians I also check out their beauty products. I know, I'm Sorry and So Ashamed. However, that stuff smells really freakin' good, and I want it! I still have yet to be able to apply false eyelashes without stabbing myself in the eye with my finger and somehow getting the lashes attached to my eyebrow. I did however discover that I am extremely weird, because apparently you are supposed to open your mouth while applying mascara and I don't. I guess every woman in the world does, except me. A man in South Florida (Miami) shot and killed his wife and then posted her picture on FB before turning himself into police. I don't know what's wrong with people these days, but all I can say is they're damn nuts! The casting of 50 Shades of Grey has begun, I guess Dani and I will know who chose best soon. I think that TV is totally against me in that they are bringing out all of these new shows that I want to see, but only on HBO, Starz, and NetFlix. If you can't tell, I have none of these channels!
I also would like to go see Gloriana on the 15th of this month in the stadium. I won't be going, but it would be really cool! Apparently I'm very needy this week. I just noticed it as I was writing this post. It's not a trait that I have very often, nor do I like. But in all fairness, I am a girl and we get to that that from time to time. Right? I've been watching Shark Week (of course it's awesome) and am baffled by some of the things that they have to say on there. In 1994 a girl and her family were on vacation, and while she was swimming a 16 ft Great White bit the girls leg off and swam away. They said "We don't think it was a shark attack, we think that the shark was just investigating her". Umm...I call Bullshit! It was 16 ft. long and she was 6'3. It's not like he nibbled her toes, he took the whole damn leg! That's a damn shark attack! Also I laughed really hard when I saw this news article yesterday. The only headlines I saw was Man Saves Dog, Then Goes Back For Wife. It may have been the greatest thing that I've ever seen in my entire life! I laughed so hard! I've decided that even if Paul Walker happened to be gay, that I would still date him because he is a very beautiful man. Thank Goodness that it's Friday!
I read this blog every time that Eli (the blogger) updates it. I have been following his blog for around 4 or 5 months now and I love it. He is so hilarious! However, despite the fact that Eli himself is hilarious all by his lonesome, what I really love are his postings about his adventures with his friend/roommate Daniel. They live in Palau, and are parting ways soon. Danielle and I were discussing this and I made mention that I will miss the stories about Daniel. She replied with "just marry him if you want him around". Good thought in theory, except a couple problems. #1: Never met the guy, #2: I don't want to be married, and #3: I'm not Mormon and he is. Nothing against the religion, honestly I mean that, but I just couldn't do it. No caffeine, alcohol, tobacco, pre-marital sex, or bad movies. I just couldn't do it. Those are alot of my favorite things! I have nothing against the religion or people that follow that religion, I just don't think that it's for me.
Aunt Susi read something the other day that says wherever your Birthmark is, is where you were killed in your former life. We started talking about what we would have been in our former lives, and how we were killed. This is what we decided on. (By the way, we decided we were all guys in our former lives). Susi was a Samurai Warrior that fought in Wars to save his people and was killed in battle, beheaded by a samurai sword, because her birthmark used to be down her head. We decided that Danielle was most likely Achilles and died a hero (now legend) because her birthmark is right on her ankle (achilles tendon). Me however. Yeah about that. We decided that I died of lead poisoning. Why? Because my birthmark is under my butt cheek, and the only fatal injury that we could think of was being shot under the butt with a lead bullet and dying of lead poisoning. I decided it was during the Civil War and I was probably all pretty, cool and badass like Jude Law in Cold Mountain. Hey! If I have to die of a butt injury in my former life then at least let me look/be like Jude Law in the process!
I had lunch with Uncle Roger and Dani today. We went here...
Is it still a compliment when you're called one of the prettiest girls at work when there's only two there in one day and three all together? Also, I just found this in my purse when I was getting my Vitamins out after lunch. I saw it in a magazine the last time I went to the Doctor, and it made me laugh. Since I needed a good laugh that day, I decided to keep it. I know that you shouldn't rip pages out of magazines in the Doctor's office, but it was one time and I'm kind of Sorry.
