Two Kinds Of Evil

I'm speaking of course of the fact that I went to the Doctor on Monday, and the two "Evil Dead" movies. I know it's a little weird and they don't exactly go together, but bear with me. Ok? Thanks. As was said on Monday, I went to the "lady doctor" to have some tests run. Let me just say that I am totally against being a woman, and I can now understand Chaz Bono's outlook on wanting to be a dude! Being a woman has it's perks, however somewhere down the line it was agreed upon (by unknown sources-probably a drunk guy) that women would have to endure a mountain of uncomfortable/painful/embarrassing moments in their lives. Thanks for that. Tools. My Doctor is a very nice woman, and she makes me as comfortable as possible, but really how comfortable can you be when in that position? (pun intended).

At some point when she was using her "microscope" for the Colposcopy, I'm pretty sure that she turned into the Devil. Just saying. She was still incredibly nice, and trying to make sure I was ok, but unbeknownst to either of us at some point either she or her "tools" were possessed. Why? Because it hurt. Not a constant/scream your head off/curse everybody around you kind of hurt, but still a little painful. Yes, I'm being a tad overly dramatic, but that's my right at this moment. Deal with it and move on. She did the colposcopy/biopsy with the colposcope (that's the microscope part-it's the forceps and other tools that are bad-that's what they say-I say their the tools from hell-potato, potatoe) and we discussed the different things that are going on with me. I've had a biopsy done before, but it's never pleasant no matter how many times you have it done. (I lost like 12 pounds in a month-so Yay!).

My Doctor said that it's a good thing that Women do this stuff instead of Men, because if it was Men then a bad event would be horrible, and a horrible event would be catastrophic. She may have a point. It would be nice if no one had to do it though. All in all though, the tests are over and done with and I go back in two weeks (July 29) for a follow-up. She put me on Metformin, and I take two of those a night. Plus I have to continue to take all the vitamins and stuff that she already has me on. I'm 23 years old and officially feel like a little old lady. Not anywhere but my purse either (where I keep my medicine and apparently the rest of my old lady stuff). Nice.

I'll keep everything about the Doctor updated on here, that way even I can remember it. Aside from that I watched the remake of The Evil Dead last night. Everyone that knows me knows that the Original Film is one of my all time favorite movies. I can't help it. Bruce Campbell is a hero of mine. So of course when I heard that the remake was coming out I was all "Yep, I'm going to have to watch that". Well, I watched it. The original is still my favorite, but I have to say the remake is good. All I can say about the remake is **@@@%$#@#%^&^%&""!!!!

Yeah, that's right. I said it. Of course the original was scary and very graphic for it's day. It's a Classic for goodness sakes! However, with technology and graphic design coming as far as it has in the last 32 years, some things were easier to make happen. It was very graphic, gory, creepy, and I don't even know the word I'm looking for. I thought that it was good. You can so see the difference in the two films too. You can definitely tell that their 32 years apart. I liked the remake though. I thought that it did the original film justice. Probably helped that Bruce Campbell and Sam Raimi produced it though. Also, Sam Raimi hand-picked the director. It was great. I'm excited that they will follow it up with a sequel.

The Original...

The Remake...

In other news, Cory Monteith's cause of death was confirmed to have resulted from a mixture of heroin and alcohol. I find this very sad. I loved "Finn Hudson". He was cremated today. I wish he could've got the help that he needed, but only he could make that decision. Adam Levine has announced that he's engaged to his model girlfriend Behati Prinsloo. Yeah say that five times fast. Even though the case of "Trayvon Martin" is closed, people are still going crazy about it, and the verdict. A cow crashed through a roof and killed a man. Yeah, it's as weird as it sounds. Also, just for Aunt Susi I would like to say, we're still waiting on the arrival of the Royal Baby. Dang it. That's all for now. I just thought that I would do a little "catch-up" for this week.
